Hellen Roberta Clymer Heathcott, 85, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at Gibson County General Hospital.

She was a retired employee of Dyersburg Fabrics, a member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ and has been a resident of Dyer Nursing Home for two years.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Jowers officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include two daughters, Martha Sue Wilson and husband, Gordon, of St. George, Utah and Teresa A. Johnson of Dyersburg; a son, John B. Childress and wife, Joyce, of Dyersburg; three brothers, Billy Joe Clymer and wife, Jackie, Kenneth Clymer and wife, Elsie, all of Dyersburg and Klyce Clymer and wife, Paulette, of Memphis; six grandchildren, Wendy Hurley and husband, Bill, of Austin, Texas, Stephen Wilson and wife, Lisa, of Rogers, Ark., John B. Childress III of Memphis, Julia Childress of Murfreesboro, Rebecca Johnson of Dyersburg and Brian Johnson and wife, Lisa, of Newbern; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Tobias Heathcott; her parents, James and Linnie Clymer; a sister, Lawanda Jones; and five brothers, James Clymer, Raymond Clymer, Odell Clymer, Olan Clymer and Franklin Clymer.

Pallbearers will be Brian Johnson, Stephen Wilson, Joe Morris, Robert Moore, Eddie Carter and Kelly Johnson.
