Helen Jean Rice, 76, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on October 21, 2022 at the West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Helen was born on May 25, 1946, in Jacksonville, NC, to the late, Leslie Eugene Davis and the late Hazel Lorene Russell Davis. She worked as a clerk for Dyersburg City Hall for 48 years. Helen was a member of Cornerstone Church of God, where she taught Sunday School and served in the Women's Ministry.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2022 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens for Pastor Chad Balentine officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Rice Family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2022 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Rice of Dyersburg, TN; a son, Allen Rice (Kayse) of Dyersburg, TN; a daughter, Selena Barker (Robert) of Dyersburg, TN; her twin sister, Willa Coburn of Dyersburg, TN; her sister-in-law, Liz Davis of Jackson, TN; five grandchildren, Allisyn Rice Barham, Kayla Barker, Stephen Barker, Landon Willis and Taylor Wilkerson; and two great-grandchildren, Tate Wilkerson and Beckett Barham.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her brother, Darrell Davis.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Wilkerson, Landon Willis, Jerone Sanders, Jonathan Barham, Jamie Davidson and Tim Enochs.
