Harry Eugene "Tiny" Tate, 54, of Ridgely, died Monday, March 28, 2011 at his residence.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Church of Christ in Ridgely.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ridgely Church of Christ with Bro. Jeff O'Dell, Bro. Ralph Moore and Bro. Marvin Tate officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Survivors include his two daughter, Misty Lynne Tate and Toshia Jean Tate, both of Ridgely; a son, Chris Tate and wife, Stephanie, of Ridgely; seven sisters, Carol Gatlin of Rogersville, AL., Brenda Campbell of Hornbeak, Pat Dudley of Dyersburg, Jessica Moore, Sharon Moore, Nancy York and Linda Smith, all of Ridgely; four brothers, Carl Ray Tate of Jonesboro, AR., Marvin Tate of Brooklyn, AR., Billy Joe Tate of Obion and Donnie Tate of Ridgely; and two grandchildren, Alexis Tate and Analyssa Tate.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Donna Davis Tate and Sandie Morton Tate; his parents, William and Ruby Turner Tate; and two brothers, H.H. "Buddy" Tate and Daniel Wayne Tate.

Pallbearers will be Cotton Brewer, Byron Stover, Billy Roper, Jeremy Boyd, Bobby Dudley, Jr. and Leonard York.
