Obituary

Harry Lloyd Jordan, 87, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.

He was born and raised in Corinth, Miss., where he attended Farmington School and was a lifetime member of Hopewell United Methodist Church. After serving the Air Force during the Korean War, Mr. Jordan to Chicago, Ill where he worked as an operating engineer for Local 150 for over 40 years. He was a 50-year Mason, a 32nd Degree Shriner and a member of Scottish Rite.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Jordan; two daughters, DeLora Jackson and Rita Scott; a son, Joe Jordan; a brother, Freeman Jordan; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, make contributions to the Shriners Hospital in his name.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2 at Hopewell United Methodist Church, 4572 County Road 200, Corinth, Miss., with Minister Grover Glenn officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
