Harry Edward Davenport, 69, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 at his residence.

Harry was born on March 15, 1953, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Ed and Alene Atchison Davenport. He was a shipment handler at Sun Products. Harry was an avid NASCAR fan and hunter. He loved race cars and spending time with his grandchildren.

Services will be at 5 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Neal Chatham officiating. The family will receive visitors beginning at 3 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Lavita Davenport of Dyersburg, TN; a son, Tyler Davenport of Fowlkes, TN; a step-son, Brandon Newhouse (Delta) of Newbern, TN; a step-daughter, Emily Roberts (Jason) of Fowlkes, TN; two brothers, Jimmy Atchison (Joyce) of Dyersburg, TN and Mike Davenport (Connie) of Fowlkes, TN; and three grandchildren, Kilayna Roberts, Jayden Roberts and Layla Russell.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie Davenport and Chris Davenport; and an aunt, Margarine Davenport.
