Obituary

Harold Eugene Spicer, 74, of Dyersburg, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Dyersburg First Church of the Nazarene.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Wayne Anderson and Bro. Tony Elam officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Spicer of Dyersburg; two sons, John Spicer of Dyersburg and James Spicer of Halls; three sisters, Ellen Stewart and Wanda Quillin, both of Union City and Caroline Wheatley of Troy; and a brother, Greg Spicer of Union City.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Jason Spicer and William Spicer; his parents, Gardner and Pauline Sampson Spicer; a sister, Peggy Pierce; and a brother, Russ Spicer.

Pallbearers will be Michael Carroll, Elvis Stewart, Larry Mitchell, Mark Choate, Mark Asher and Tony Walton.
