Gwen Owen, 68, of Dyersburg, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.

She was a homemaker. Gwen was also a member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Steven Turner and Mr. Rick Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Robert W. Owen of Dyersburg; a daughter, Rosemary Ward of Dyersburg; a son, Brian Owen of Tiptonville; her mother, Bert Cox of Portland, OR; a sister, Ellen Seaman of Portland, OR; a brother, Stan Cox of Portland, OR; five grandchildren, Xzandrya Clouse and husband, Kevin, Berry Page, Candice Page, Chrystal Turner and husband, Steven, and Barbara Lenderman and husband, John; and three great-grandchildren, Constantine David Clouse, Liam Kade Ward and Nicklei Von Riley Lenderman.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Edward Cox.

Pallbearers will be John Ward, Berry Page, Alexander Chambers, Wesley Chambers, Thomas Riggs and Kevin Owens.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association.
