Gracie Irene Griffin, 100, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at AHC Healthcare Dyersburg.

She was born on July 12, 1922, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Alonzo and Ludie May Burch Hines. Gracie was a retired custodian with the Dyersburg Electric System and was a homemaker. She was an avid card player and also enjoyed playing Rook, Rummy and Dominos. Gracie was an avid gardener and loved to cook.

Graveside services will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Mac Daniels officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Tammy Viar; two great-grandchildren, Tommy Taylor and Ashley Corbin (Scottie); and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Gracie was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. Griffin; two daughters, Joyce Webb Neff and Patsy Gibbons; a brother, L.H. Hines; and two sisters, Dolly Lou Fortner and Louise Rehse.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
