Gordon Milne Howe's Obituary
Gordon Milne Howe, 86, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
He was a retired manager for Schlesinger's, Inc., member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, member of Knight of Columbus and a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery with Father Russell Harbaugh officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his daughter, Julie Ray of Dyersburg; two sons, Joseph Orlando Howe and wife, Lisa, of Evant, TX. and Gordon Kane Howe and wife, Kelly, of Dyersburg; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ima "Dennie" Howe; and his parents, Edgar and Ida Kane Howe.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Fowlkes, Joe Wood, George Younger, Earl Smith, Billy Stafford and Moe Simms.
