Gloria Neal Griffin, 80, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Gloria was born on February 27, 1940, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Charles and Hazel Sorrell Neal. She was a retired secretary for the Federal Aviation Administration at the Dyersburg Airport and was a lifetime member of Sorrells Chapel United Methodist Church.

Private visitation and funeral services will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Hugh "Buddy" Griffin of Dyersburg, TN; two daughters, Amy Reed and husband, Bob, of Jackson, TN and JoEllen Farris and husband, Larry, of Springfield, TN; a brother, Kenneth Neal and wife, Marsha, of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Glenda Rice and husband, George, of Dyersburg, TN; and five grandchildren, Rebekah Reed, Evan Farris, Abby Reed, Ben Farris and Will Farris.

Pallbearers will be Ben Farris, Will Farris, Evan Farris, Hunter Rice, Chad Neal and Steven Armstrong.

The family would like to thank the staff of Regency Memory Care in Jackson for the care of our mother for the past 5 years.
