Gloria Jean Glass "Mama Glo", 72, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

She was born on June 19, 1947, in Ridgely, TN, to the late, James Marion Sykes and the late Cora Kolwyck Sykes. Mama Glo was a childcare provider and a homemaker.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2019 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Halliburton officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The Glass Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Glass of Dyersburg, TN; two sons, Rick Glass and wife, Tiffani, and Brad Glass, all of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Sybil Johnson of Belleville, MI; six grandchildren, Megan Deutschlander, Emily Glass, Anna Glass, Trevor Glass, Will Glass and Luke Glass; and a special niece, Judy Holland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her six sisters, Mary Jane Morgan, Shirley Hendren, Margaret Jones, June Guthrie, Gladys Countess and Aileene Kidd; and a brother, Marion Sykes, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Trevor Glass, Will Glass, Luke Glass, Tommy Hendren, Curtis Jones, Jimmy Joe Davis, Daniel Burns and Gunner Davis.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
