Glenda Joan Godwin's Obituary
Glenda Joan Tirey Godwin, 73, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at her residence.
She was a conservator for Comcare and a member of Springhill Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Crews officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Whitt of Dyersburg; a son, Al Wallace of Nashville; her mother, Lucille Gurley of Dyersburg; a brother, Andrew Gurley of Cincinnati, OH; her lifelong friend, Betty Ball of Dyersburg and her family, Gina Ball Poore of Woodstock, GA, Scott Ball of Nebo and Patti Ball Chou of Columbus, GA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Godwin; and her father, Homer Tirey.
Pallbearers will be Scott Ball, K.B. Chou, Dustin Ennis, Jim Hill and Phillip Francher.
