Glenda June Gilbert, age 80, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

She was born on June 9, 1942 in Tigrett, TN to the late Katherine Gilbert. Glenda worked for All-Wear as a sewing machine operator for many years and was a member at The Tabernacle of Praise in Halls, TN. She had a profound love for animals but especially her own fur baby, Little Lady.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00 until 2:00 on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Ron Scott. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Survivors include her mother by choice, Nancy Corder; one sister by choice, Penny Reasons; one sister-in-law, Teresa Gilbert and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ed Gilbert; one brother, Edward Gilbert; one sister, Martha; and her father by choice, Neb Corder.

Honoring Glenda as pallbearers will be Jerry Bell, Jerry Lynn Bell, Jonny Willis, Eric Gilbert, Jon Koob and Cree Koob.
