Glenda Ann Cantrell, 65, of Ridgely, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was a retired registered nurse for Methodist Home Health and a member of Abundant Life Fellowship, where she operated the church bookstore. She was a Lifebeat Volunteer, member of Lake County High School Class of 1966 and a graduate of Dyersburg State Nursing Program.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Abundant Life Fellowship with the Rev. David Gray and the Rev. Jack Henry officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Survivors include her mother, Luna B. Cantrell of Ridgely; a brother, Willie Cantrell and wife, Beverly, of Tiptonville; a niece, Breana Cantrell; and a nephew, David Cantrell and wife, Ashleigh.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bealor Orell Cantrell.
Pallbearers will be Howard Todd, Wally Dudley, Mike Fisher, Ray Goodgine, Jr., Larry White, Jackie Flowers, Chris Gray and Sammy Tickle. Honorary pallbearers will be Mack Forrester, Wilkes Moore, Gene Pope and Tony Leake.
