Glenda Faye Bortner's Obituary
Glenda Faye Orman Bortner, 72, of Troy, TN, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at her residence.
She was born on June 28, 1945, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Edd Orman, Jr. and the late Serilla June Mabry Orman. Glenda was a retired LPN for St. Joseph Hospital.
Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Bro. Jim Ennis officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Bortner of Troy; two daughters, Amy Vestal of Dyersburg and Melissa Smith of Camden; four sisters, Janet Ennis Holt of Tampa, FL, Gayla Johnson, Judy Burns and Jackie Armstrong, all of Dyersburg; a brother, Jeff Orman of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Tyler McNutt, Dylan McNutt, Spencer McNutt and Sarah Moros; and a great-grandchild, Robbie Moros.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Brittany Vestal McNutt; a brother, Jimmy Ennis, Sr.; and her step-mother, Hattie Ennis Orman.
The family requests that memorials be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
