Glen Dale Floyd, 51, of Ridgely, died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was chief of police for the City of Ridgely and attended Ridgely First United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ridgely First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Craig Myreck officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-9 p.m. Monday at the church.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Amy Floyd of Ridgely; a daughter, Roxie Floyd of Ridgely; a son, John Floyd of Ridgely; his mother, Joyce Floyd of Ridgely; and two brothers, Alton Floyd of Kingman, AZ. and Steve Floyd of Ridgely.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin "Bub" Floyd.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Lee, Perry Pierce, David Callens, Bryan Bargery, Johnny Barnes, Jimmy Dale Snyder, Bryan Avery and Robert Moore.
