Girtie Sumler's Obituary
Girtie Sumler, 90, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008 at Dyersburg Manor.
She was a homemaker and a member of McCullough's Chapel Baptist Church.
Services were Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Young officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include a brother, Earl Williams of Henderson; two grandchildren, Renee Franks of Dyersburg and Suzanne Wallace of Lexington; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Norma Jean Wallace and Juanita Wells; her parents, Park and Maggie Horton Williams; and a brother, Carl Williams Sr.
Pallbearers were Carl Williams Jr., Carlton Williams, Roger Williams, J.R. Williams, Robert Williams and Jerry Williams.
