Obituary

Gerald Thomas "Tommy" Ketchum, 82, of Dyersburg, died Friday, May 14, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was the retired owner of Ketchum's Auto Repair, attended Independent Free Holiness Church and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Calvin Smith and the Rev. Jim Ketchum officiating.

The family will receive visitors from 1-2:45 p.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Ketchum; a daughter, Alice Ketchum Lumley of Dyersburg; a son, Charles Ketchum of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Matt Ketchum, Brad Sexton and Cody Clark; and three great-grandchildren, Logan Clark, Lexie Ketchum and Preston Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Ketchum; his parents, Ardell and Naomi Ketchum; a sister and four brothers.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and friends.
