Georgia Louise Phillips' Obituary
Georgia Louise Phillips, 91, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Conway Lakes Health & Rehab Center in Orlando, FL.
She was a retired factory worker for Colonial Rubber Works and a lifetime member of Harvest Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Nathe Ozment officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her son, Ron Phillips of Orlando, FL; two grandchildren, Abbey Phillips Maurer and husband, Chuck, of Tallahassee, FL and Andrew Phillips of Orlando, FL; and a great-granddaughter, Stella Rose Maurer of Tallahassee, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Walter and Mamie Norman Ray; and a sister, Allene Briley.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, Department 3, 322 Eight Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
