George Brigham Holland's Obituary
George Holland, 74, of Bogota, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at his residence.
He was a retired mechanic for Dyersburg Fabrics and an U.S. Army Veteran. He was a Baptist.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Three Oaks Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Phipps and Bro. Don Williams officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 9-11 a.m. Thursday at Three Oaks Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, April Steele and husband, Kenny, of Puryear; two sons, Tim Holland and wife, Judy, and Marty Holland and wife, Sara, all of Dyersburg; a sister, Dolly Gay of Dyersburg; a brother, Monroe Holland of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and six grandchildren, Cody Holland, Hunter Holland, Justin Richardson, Logan Holland, Lawson Holland and Amber Holland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Francis Glozier Holland; a brother, Tom Holland; and two sisters, Audra Riley and Francis Rushing.
