George Emile Cox, Jr.'s Obituary
George Emile Cox, Jr., 68, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired security guard, attended The Sanctuary and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his two sisters, Margaret Crawford and Cathy LaRue, both of Louisville, KY; a brother, Billy Cox of Louisville, KY; and his caregiver, Barbara Cannon of Dyersburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Gladys Ferrell Cox.
The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
