Gene Douglas "Mickey" Moore, 75, of Tiptonville, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Tiptonville First United Methodist Church. He was an avid Lake County Sports Fan and St. Louis Cardinals Fan. Mr. Moore was active in scrapbooking and was a member of Tiptonville Senior Citizens Center. He was a good friend to everyone.

Services will be at 12 noon Friday at Crockett Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marita Burkeen and the Rev. Jerry Leggett officiating. Burial will be in Crockett Chapel Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oborn and Pearl Lannom Moore.

Pallbearers will be Michael Moore II, Bud Moore, Tony Wallace, Tim Moore, Charles Fisher and Bob Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be Tinker Norris, Sonya Wyatt, Roy Williams, Billy Roberts, Joe Campbell, James Deason and members of Tiptonville First United Methodist Church Men's Sunday School Class.

The family requests that memorials be directed to Crockett Chapel Cemetery Fund.
