Gay Francis White, 86, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Gay was born on October 2, 1937, in McKenzie, TN, to the late Jack and May Belle Powers Wilson. She was a retired sewing operator at Rolane Manufacturing and was a member of the Ridgely Church of Christ. Gay loved politics, nature and growing flowers.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2024 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff O'Dell officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the funeral home.

Survivors include her two sons, Terry Lynn Howell (Frances) and Jackie Wade Howell (Sherry) all of Ridgely, TN; two brothers, Michael Wilson and Charles Wilson; three sisters, Paula Covey, Rita Brasure and Martha Bradshaw; and a grandson, Terry Lee Howell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband's, William Noah Howell and Ellis White; a son, Rickey Howell; seven brothers, Harold Wilson, Jerrell Wilson, Don Wilson, Earl Wilson, Robert Wilson, Lynn Wilson and Mark Wilson; and two sisters, Ann Jackson and Sue Mitchell.

Serving as pallbearers will be Willie Benthal, Jessie Brasure, Joe Flowers, David Wollin, Paul Jackson, Matt Covey, Trey Wood and Chris Burress.
