Freddie Allen Ford, 66, of North Carolina, formerly of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in North Carolina.

He was born on July 25, 1952, in Manilla, AR, to the late Fred Ellis Ford and Maxine Roy Ford. Freddie was a loving brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a businessman of several trades with many accomplishments. His favorite was the transportation industry. He loved NASCAR and was a die-hard New England Patriots Fan. Freddie had the biggest heart and was so humorous. He was happiest spending time with family and making everyone laugh.

Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Jack Sexton officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 3:30-5 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his three daughters, Nicole Ford-Sexton (Lance Key) of Richfield, NC, Jennifer Ford-Hernandez (David) of Brighton, TN and Marla Alderman (Garrett) of Society Hill, SC; a son, Tristen Ford of Wixom, MI; two brothers, Willie Ford (Regina) and Jimmy Ford (Kathy), all of Dyersburg; eight grandchildren, Ashlyn Sexton, Gracelyn Smith, Madison Lepping Lopez, Jeremy Hernandez, LeeAnn Hernandez, Hayden Alderman, Maddox Alderman and Gage Alderman; and five great-grandchildren, Brayden Lepping, Aalayah Lopez, Grayson Lopez, Houston Lopez and Laken Lopez.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Ford; a grandson, Dawson Lopez; and his long-time companion, Annette Erckman.
