Franklin Delano Tatum, 83, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at his residence.

Franklin was born on July 14, 1937, in Flatwoods, TN, to the late, John and Martha Tatum. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Mooring Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Mac Daniels officiating. Burial will be in East View Cemetery in Union City, TN.

The Tatum Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021 at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Henrietta Pitts Tatum of Tiptonville, TN; one son, Ricky Tatum (Pam) of Obion, TN; three step-sons, Charles "Bubba" Campbell of Ridgely, TN, Kerry Allen Campbell of Clarksville, TN and Gary Davis of Dyersburg, TN; two step-daughters, Angel Tolley of Tiptonville, TN and Kim Delecourt of Dyersburg, TN; six brothers, Alec Weaks, Eugene Tatum, Ernie Tatum, Whit Tatum, Terry Tatum and Larry Tatum; four sisters, Mary Tucker Scott, Linda Newton, Mary DeLion and Adell Tatum; two grandchildren, Chasity Lynn Williams and Travis Wade Tatum; five great-grandchildren, Caleb Tatum, Tyler Tatum, Josie Lynn Tatum, Trey Allen, III and Alexis Goodman; six step-grandchildren, Brandi Campbell Hawkins, Franklin Spencer, Derek Campbell, Dusty Campbell, Justin Campbell and Katherine Campbell; and several very loved step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Franklin was preceded in death by a sister, Mattie Scott; four brothers, Cooper Tatum, Thomas Tatum, Alvin Weaks and Dewhit Tatum, Jr.; and two step-children, Stacy Campbell and Greg Campbell.

Pallbearers will be Austin Williams, Derek Campbell, Kaleb Tatum, Rylan Williams, Corey Morgan and Charles Campbell.
