Francis "Fritz" George Kaufman, 61, of Tiptonville, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at NHC Health & Rehab in Milan.
He was a retired maintenance supervisor for World Color Press, Communicant and a member of Parish Council of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Dyersburg, Knights of Columbus and a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam War.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Bob Stellini officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery in Effingham, IL. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Rosie Baker Kaufman of Tiptonville; two daughters, Jennifer Griffey and husband, Bryan, of Celina, TX. and Monica Schoolfield and husband, Ervin, of Navarre, FL., five grandchildren, Ashley Griffey, Matthew Griffey and Katherine Griffey, all of Celina, TX. and Adam Schoolfield and Sydney Schoolfield, both of Navarre, FL.; and five step-grandchildren, Kate Baker, Michael Baker, Caroline Baker and Ben Baker, all of Memphis and Lillian Baker of Nashville.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Madeline Fehrenbacher Kaufman; and his parents, Leonard and Rosa Feusting Kaufman.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Griffey, Ervin Schoolfield, Clay Baker, David Baker, James Schoolfield and Michael Baker.
