Mrs. Frances Ann Zabrauskas, age 99, of Dyersburg, TN, formerly of Mountain Home, AR and the Chicago, IL area, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Harborview Health Systems in Dyersburg. She was born January 20, 1920 in Divernon, IL to the late Andrew and Petranella Gudenas. She retired over fifty years ago after working as a wire operator for the J.C. Penney and Sears companies. She was a devout Catholic and member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, attending Mass as often as possible. She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed baking.
She is survived by her daughters, Trisha & Francis Jansta of Antioch, IL, Judy & Bill Boehmler of Dyersburg, TN and Sue & Tom Stone of Peoria, AZ. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tracy Granzyk, Kathleen Granzyk, Mark Huber, Steve & Megan Granzyk, Stacy & Brent Rademaker, Scott & Teresa Demlow, Blake & Mary Boehmler, Michael Boehmler and Jackie & Ewing Liu and five great-grandchildren, Faith and Sydney Cullen, Vince and Payton Granzyk and Madelynn Rademaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew & Petranella Gudenas, Sr, her husband, Stanley Zabrauskas, a brother Andrew Gudenas, Jr, and her sisters, Josephine Larson, Helen Valentinas, Katherine Gudenas and Julie Zabrauskas.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, conducted by Reverend Patrick Hirtz, Entombment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Her grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
