Mrs. Frances Work, of Tiptonville, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Signature Healthcare in Ridgely.  She was born April 13, 1930 to Maudie & William Marchbanks.  She was a long-time bookkeeper for the Lake County Board of Education as well as the Proctor City Water District and saleswoman for the Avon Company.  She was a devoted caregiver to her family and enjoyed working in her flower gardens very much.

She is survived by her son, David Work & wife Sandy, her grand-daughters, Jennifer Work Paschall & husband, Billy and Alison Work Strayhorn & husband, Darren.  She was greatly loved by her great-grandchildren, Jace, Chloe & Katie Strayhorn, River Paschall & wife, Mindy, Canaan & Sawyer Paschall, the family of Rex & Meaghen White and her great-great-grandson Owen Paschall.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Norris Work, Sr., her son, Norris Work, Jr., her parents and a sister, Virginia Lechica.

The family and friends will gather at Tiptonville City Cemetery for graveside funeral services on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy, Canaan, Sawyer & River Paschall, Darren & Jace Strayhorn and Terry Jamison III.
