Frances R. Jones, 70, of Tiptonville, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was a retired employee for H.I. S. Corporation. She was also a member of Jones Chapel Church of Christ.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Lonnie Grady and Mr. Clayton Mahan officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens.

The Jones Family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her son, Joseph Lee "Bubba" Jones, Jr. of Tiptonville; five sisters, Sue Hayes and Linda Williams, both of Tiptonville, Patricia Lamb of Ridgely, Cindy Fisher and Connie Perkins, both of Dyersburg; three brothers, Joe Perkins of Nashville, Ronnie Perkins of Mayfield, KY and Jerry Perkins of Tiptonville; two grandchildren, Natalie Lumley Hays and Bobby Lumley; and three great-grandchildren, McKensi Hays, Charleigh Hays and Briar Hays.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Sheriff Joe Jones; a daughter, JoAnn Jones; her parents, Jessie and Golden Carrington Perkins; a sister, Ruth Ann Taylor; and two brothers, Jesse "Dump" Perkins and Jackie Perkins.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Hays, William "Bubba" Richardson, Bo Lamb, Joseph Miller, Andrew Fisher and Steve Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerome Miller, Logan Lamb, David Tate and Jimmy Williams.
