Frances Ilene Flatt, 78, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a retired school teacher for the Dyer County School System and was a member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Owen officiating. Entombment will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, James C. Flatt, Sr. of Dyersburg; two daughters, Lita Carmen Floyd of McKenzie and Teresa Ilene Flatt Bateman of Illinois; two sons, James C. Flatt, Jr. and Jimmy Ray Flatt, both of Dyersburg; a sister, Betty Jean Delashmitt of Dyersburg; and eight grandchildren, Levi David Morgan, Brian Christopher Sykes, James Nicholas Flatt, Candace Nichole Flatt, Christian Hope Flatt, Brianna Kaitlan Flatt, Zachory Lance Flatt and Makayla Jean Flatt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Eva Jackson Inman; and a brother, James Franklin Inman.

Pallbearers will be Brian Sykes, Jonathan Diggs, Eddie Rogers, Tim Bateman, Thomas King, Gerald Canada, Alex Scott and Jessie Rogers.
