Florence Reeves' Obituary
Florence Reeves, 94, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009 at her residence.
She was a homemaker and a member of Finley Pentecostal Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Finley Pentecostal Church with Bro. Steve Walker and Bro. Glen Streeter officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors at 5:30-8 p.m. today at the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Jo Ann Powell and husband, Jere, of Dyersburg and Frances Hutson and husband, Raymond, of Finley; a son, Roy Reeves and wife, Linda, of Finley; two sisters, Ruby Sims of Fowlkes and Jessie Pritchett of Bartlett; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Reeves; her parents, J.D. and Ethel Lott; a sister, Lorene Richardson; and a brother, Elco Lott.
Pallbearers will be Floyd Sullivan, Keith Tucker, Jere Tucker, Carroll Kirkpatrick, Grady Welch and Robby Tidwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Beecham, Harvey Williams and Carter Willoughby.
