Florence Ella Hanks, 91, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024 at AHC of Dyersburg.

Florence was born on April 30, 1933, in Elbridge, TN, to the late Booker and Thelma Gibson Sanford. She was a homemaker.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Bro. John Lowrance officiating.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Mike Hanks (Rhonda) of Paris, TN; her son-in-law, Kerry Bizzle of Dyersburg, TN; a grandson, Christopher Bizzle of Jackson, TN; and her twin great-grandsons, Camden Bizzle and Connor Bizzle.

In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Hanks; her daughter, Dianne Bizzle; and a sister, Beauton Atkins.

Pallbearers will be Cray Reed, Harold Atkins, Roger Atkins, Fred Hanks, Jr., Austin Brown and Jason Bizzle. Honorary pallbearers will be Kerry Bizzle, Roy Lynn Bizzle and Billy Taylor.
