Flora Wilson, 95, passed away peacefully in Bartlett, TN on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. She was surrounded by her loved ones.

Flora was born on April 28, 1926 in McNairy County, TN where she was one of thirteen children of the late William & Roxie James.

She was a long-time resident of Fowlkes, TN. She worked at Parkview Hospital in Dyersburg, TN for more than two decades, up until her retirement. Flora enjoyed attending church and was a member of Northside Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her husband Corbett Ernest Wilson, son C.E. Wilson Jr., and daughter Linda (Larry) Roberts. "Foye" is survived by four grandchildren, Ernie (Joyce) Permenter, Jeff Haynes, Timothy Haynes, & Darla (Nicholas) Greer. She was a beloved "FoFo" to eight great-grandchildren: Jeff Haynes, Josh Haynes, Carlie Carter, TJ Haynes, Brandon Permenter, Morgan Haynes, Courtney Haynes and Tucker Greer.

Flora was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She doted on her family and was happiest when she was surrounded by them. She was a humble, faithful servant of God, who loved her family unconditionally. She was filled with such spirit, love, and wisdom. Her heart was so kind and her soul was full of love. She lived her life with honesty, integrity, and faith and made us all strive to be better people. She was so selfless, so giving, and so patient. We are grateful for her life, her legacy, her joy, and her heart for others.

Fofo lived each day with the purpose to serve the Lord and serve her loved ones. She had a true servant's heart and loved with purpose.

An intimate graveside celebration of life was held on October 1, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, TN with Mr. Rick Crawford officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home was entrusted with her arrangements.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Flora is resting with the Lord after 95 years full of love.
