Evaleena Tucker, 87, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Okeena Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on August 10, 1938, in Dyersburg, TN, Evaleena was the beloved daughter of the late Nellie Glass Powers. She was a life-long resident of Dyersburg, TN. Evaleen dedicated her professional life to Dyersburg Fabrics, where she worked for 30 years. She loved going to flea markets, trying to find her next treasure. Evaleena was a collector of all things. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2026 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Carmon Dennison officiating. Burial will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors beginning at 9:15 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Don Tucker and wife, Benita, of West Palm Beach, FL; two sisters, Faye Brock of Finley, TN and Pearlie Mae Wingate of Dyersburg, TN; two grandchildren, Whitney Beasley and husband, Scott, of Milan, TN and Madison Seratt and fiancé, Keaton Hayes, of Dyersburg, TN; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Evaleena was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Tucker; a son, Mack Tucker; a brother, Wayne Powers; and a sister, Ann Phillips.

Tucker Haycraft, Lynn Davis, Marshall Carman, Christopher Conner, Keaton Hayes and Theron Gean will serve as pallbearers.
