Eva Shepperson, 73, of Dyersburg, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at her residence.

She was a homemaker and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jessie Shepperson of Dyersburg; two daughters, Tina Prince of Dyersburg and Eva Darlene McPherson of Finley; three sons, J. D. Shepperson of Halls, Jessie Lewis Shepperson of Bonicord and Jessie Shepperson, Jr. of Dyersburg; a sister, Maxine Wicker of Dyersburg; a brother, Dewayne Dorse of Dyersburg; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Eva was preceded in death by her father J. D. Dorse; her mother Emma Long Gibson; and four brothers, L. D. Dorse, Sammy Dorse, Daniel Dorse, and Danny Dorse.

Cremation services are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home.
