Eva Cressie Hinds, 94, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker. Mrs. Eva was very active with the Dyersburg Office on Aging.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Stan Cavness and Pastor Stephen Cavness officiating.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be at Noon Thursday at Memorial Gardens in Harriman, TN with Bro. Stan Cavness and Pastor Stephen Cavness officiating. The family will receive visitors at 10 a.m. Thursday at Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman, TN.

Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Cavness and husband, Stan, of Dyersburg; a son, Peter Hinds of Harriman; a sister, Vera Clarke of London, England; four grandchildren, Stephanie (Tracy) King of Trenton, Stephen (Christi) Cavness of Fulton, KY, Justin Hinds of Harriman and Jeff Hinds of Harriman; and seven great-grandchildren, Cameron and Alex King, Charlie and Piper Cavness, Bubba Hinds, and Tyler and Khristian Hinds.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey H. Hinds; her parents, John and Florence Dobbs; a sister, Edna Godsmark; and two brothers, William Dobbs and Robert Dobbs.
