Eugene "Gene" Thomas Kuta, 57, of Tiptonville, died Sunday, June 26, 2011 at his residence.

He was a machine operator for Rollcoater of Blytheville, AR.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lake Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Houston Northcutt officiating. There will be a meal to follow at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Kuta of Tiptonville; two daughters, Brandy Kellogg of Gary, IN. and Jessica Murray of Dyersburg; three sons, Jeremy Kuta of Beeville, TX., Steven Kuta of Springville, NV. and Kevin Kuta of Indianapolis, IN.; a step-son, William Ford of Union City; two step-daughters, Angela Lones of South Fulton and Tina Blue of Dyersburg; two sisters, Norma Schmiderer of St. Francis, WI. and Christine A. Kuta of Union City; a brother, Raymond P. Kuta of Tiptonville and fourteen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Harriet Wallace Kuta.
