Obituary

Ethel Kee Hastings, 93, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker, retired from Dyersburg Fabrics and the oldest founding member of Northside Church of Jesus Christ.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Northside Church of Jesus Christ with Bro. Ray Winstead officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday at Northside Church of Jesus Christ. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her two daughters, Carolyn Lewis and husband, Otha, and Janet Quinley and husband, Joe, all of Dyersburg; a son, Elvis Kee and wife, Sally, of Memphis; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and seventeen great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; Leo Hogue, Jirl Kee and Van Hastings; an infant son, Carmack Hogue; her parents, William J. and Florence Hart; three sisters, Katherine Cole, Frances Garrett and Edna Burkeen Hand; and six brothers, Kenneth Hart, Leland Hart, Alton Hart, Odell Hart, Brady Hart and Clayburn Hart.

Pallbearers will be Jason Putman, Mark Fortner, Robert Blevins, Mark Rickman, William Weaver and Nathan Winstead. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ralph Reynolds, Dr. Fred Moore, Dr. Scott Harrod, Earl Gatlin and brethern of Northside Church of Jesus Christ.

Memorials may be directed to Northside Church of Jesus Christ Building Fund, 39 JB Avenue, Dyersburg, TN 38024 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
