Ernest Clay Ramey, 75, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at his residence.

Ernest was born on December 27, 1944, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Doc and Ruby McKee Ramey. He was a truck driver for CaRe Petroleum and was a huge wrestling fan as well. Ernest was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a Baptist by faith.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Danny O'Guin officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his daughter, Darlene Ramey White (Bobby) of Dyersburg, TN; two brothers, Dan Ramey and George Ramey, both of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Alice Gruggett of Greenfield, TN; two grandchildren, Niki Jowers and Blake White; and two great-grandchildren, Kylee Jowers and Kasen Jones.

In addition to his parents, Ernest was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Ramey; five brothers, Robert Ramey, Buck Ramey, Virgil Ramey, Roland "Legs" Ramey and Raymond Ramey; and a sister, Minnie Jean Criswell.

Pallbearers will be Adam Simmons, Keith French, C.J. Fowler, Nick Vaughn, Alan Permenter and Jason Atchison.
