Erlene Imogene Stewart's Obituary
Erlene Imogene Stewart, 88, of Halls, TN, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.
She was born on May 9, 1929 in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Walter Bentley, Sr. and the late Mary Bartlett Bentley. Erlene was a retired sewing machine operator for Dyersburg Fabrics. She was also a lifelong Baptist. In 1948, Erlene married Bill Stewart with whom she had five children.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her two daughters, Donna Stewart and Sandra Whitley, both of Dyersburg; two sons, Robert Stewart of Forney, TX and Gordon Stewart of Arkansas; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Stewart; and two brothers, Walter Bentley, Jr. and Herman Bentley.
