Ms. Era Mae Nale, 92, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at The Bay Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born September 22, 1932 to the late Adrian & Polly Thurmond. Era was a devoted mother and homemaker, caring for her loved ones' needs. She was a devout Christian, always active in church wherever she lived. In the 1980's, she owned her own ceramics shop in Dyersburg and also loved all types of arts and crafts as well as being a seamstress in the community.

Era is survived by her son, Wesley Allan Nale (Tammy LaBonte) of Dyer, TN; a daughter, Alicia Reynolds (Thomas) of Newbern, TN; her two sisters, Betty Watkins and Alice Pauline Thurmond Sisk; her three grandchildren, Roger Gourley, Olivia Nale and Edie Reynolds Wells; and a great-granddaughter, Nora Jean Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adrian Roy Thurmond and Emma Pauline "Polly" Thurmond; a brother, Leroy Thurmond; and a sister, Illa Faye Kelly.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Era Mae Nale will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Dyersburg Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 12:00 p.m.
