Emilie Marie Remelius Ryan, 33, of Newbern, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at her residence.
She was a teacher for Hayti High School and attended First Christian Church. She was a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Vahalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, IL. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery in Fairview Heights, IL.
Survivors include her husband, Jason M. Ryan of Newbern; a daughter, Gwendolyn Jean Ryan of Newbern; a son, Liam Theodore Ryan of Newbern; her mother, Laura Remelius of Belleville, IL; and her sister, Mary Katherine "Katie" Heinzl and husband, Eric, of Swansea, IL.
