Ellen Ruth Arnold Jones' Obituary
Ellen Ruth Arnold Jones, 92, of Jackson, formerly of Fowlkes, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was a retired cafeteria worker for Dyersburg Intermediate School and a member of Fowlkes United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Gardner and the Rev. James Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Ruth Campbell and husband, James, of Lakeland, FL. and Glenda Hulme and husband, William, of Jackson; a son, Glen Jones and wife, Debbie, of Huntsville, AL.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Jones; her parents, William and Jessie Graham Arnold; three sisters; and five brothers.
Pallbearers will be Mark Pigott, Charles Rogers, Joe Purcell, Calvin Fitzhugh, Russ Campbell and Ronnie Doss. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Smith and Steve Watson.
