Elizabeth Ann Ramsey, 79, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Born on October 30, 1943, in Tiptonville, TN, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late L.T. and Winnie Kendall Salmon. She was the secretary at Cumberland Presbyterian Church and attended Lenox Baptist Church. Elizabeth was the founding member of Paws to Care and was a member of Maggie and Friends Therapy Dogs in Jackson, TN. She loved line dancing, taking pictures, painting, traveling and shopping.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Rev. Annetta Camp. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery near Dyer, TN.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her two daughters, Charlotte Kolwyck (Allen) and Michelle Ramsey, all of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Susan Salmon Brown (Lewis) of Lexington, TN; two brothers, David Salmon (Shelia) and Kendall Salmon (Susan) all of Tiptonville, TN; and a grandson, Weston Kolwyck.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Richard Ramsey; and a brother, Larry Salmon.

Pallbearers will be Mark Brown, Shane Brown, David Brown, Jerry Fisher, Jim Morgan and Jack Boone.
