Miss Elizabeth DeLayne "Laney" Ledbetter, the beloved infant daughter of Josh and Marissa Ledbetter, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Born on February 18, 2026, in Jackson, TN, Laney was a precious little gift whose brief time on earth filled the hearts of her family with love and joy. Her family cherished every moment they had with her during her short time here.

Visitation for Miss Laney will be Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 2-3:45 p.m. at Cornerstone Church, 225 East Main Street, Obion, TN 38240.

Private family burial will be held at a later time. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her parents, Josh and Marissa Kirkman Ledbetter of Obion, TN; a brother, Noah Ledbetter of Obion, TN; a sister, Mallory Ledbetter of Obion, TN; her grandparents, Terry and Connie Ledbetter of Obion, TN, David and Michelle Kirkman of Sikeston, MO and Mike and Mary McCollough of Dexter, MO; her great-grandparents, Gene and Margaret Willis of Newbern, TN; and her aunts and uncles, Erickah Graham, Joey and Jessica Harrison and Jon and Jenni Walters.

Laney was preceded in death by a sister, Avery Lynn Kirkman.

Serving as pallbearers will be C.J. Ledbetter and Randy Evans. Honorary pallbearers will be Noah Ledbetter, Danny Friaf, Brad Blakely and Billy Canada.
