Elizabeth Maupin Helsing, 94, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Bogota, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009 at Friendship Gardens Inc. in Clearwater, Fla.
She was a retired waitress and a member of Hercules Church of Christ in Dunedin, Fla.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern with Tom Bright officiating.

The family will receive visitors from 1-2 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include a sister, Virginia Hazelrig of Memphis; three nieces, Carol Fisher of Dyersburg, Betty Gamble of Germantown and Brenda Cicconie of Marengo, Ill.; and a nephew, David Bennett of Memphis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest "Mike" C. Helsing; and her parents, Samuel and Julia Sanders.

The family requests that any memorials be directed to Clearwater Church of Christ, 601 South Hercules, Clearwater, FL 33764.
