Elivon Louise Stover, 87, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at her residence.
Elivon was born on December 20, 1935, in Obion County, TN, to the late James Franklin Cunningham and the late, Ellie Louise Jonas Cunningham. She was a bookkeeper for Ben Greenberg and was a member of East Dyersburg Methodist Church. Elivon was a past president of Jennie Bell School PTA, was an active member of most school activities, and had served as a crossing guard at Jennie Bell School. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, ceramics and making Christmas decorations. Elivon enjoyed fishing, cooking and taking care of her children and grandchildren, who she was very proud of.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Ballinger officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Judy Gayle Stover of Gratio, TN and Pamela Tetleton (Eddie) of Halls, TN; two sons, Dennis Wayne Stover (Tammy) of Friendship, TN and Franklin O'Neil Stover (Robin) of Dyersburg, TN; seven grandchildren, Rodney Lane Lawson (Brett), Ryan Lawson (Angelia), Anna Tetleton Burns (Chad), Kyle O'Neil Stover, Joey Weik (Tara), Carol Ann Stover and Nickalas Cade Stover (Rachel); and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Elivon was preceded in death by her husband, Roy O'Neil Stover; a brother, Franklin Dail Cunningham; and a grandson Cody Edward Tetleton. Pallbearers will be Ryan Lawson, Rodney Lane Lawson, Kyle O'Neil Stover, Cade Stover, Tyler Lawson and Chad Burns.
Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
