Edna Childress, 62, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker and attended First Assembly of God.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Meacham Cemetery with the Rev. Stephen Stoner officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Johnny Childress of Dyersburg; a son, Eddy Childress and wife, Amy, of Dyersburg; her mother, Bertha Odom Roper of Newbern; a sister, Paulette Morrow of Newbern; a son-in-law, Kenny Monteith of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Emily Thomas, Amanda Neal and William Monteith, all of Memphis and Kyle Childress of Dyersburg; and four great-grandchildren, Corbin Thomas, Addison Thomas, Ashton Hulsey and Jett David Neal.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Monteith; her father, Elmer Odom; and a brother, Ray Odom.
Pallbearers will be Chris Odom, Jim Ray Ritter, Jason Ritter, Danny Childress, Scotty Childress and Ryan Childress.
