Edna Carolyn Butler, 98, of Tiptonville, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at her residence.
She was a homemaker, a Baptist and the widow of Dutch Butler.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Rick Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Dyersburg.
Survivors include her four daughters, Peggy Hamilton of Savannah, Dorothy Ladd of Sevierville, Joan Kaminski of Memphis and Charlotte Butler of Reelfoot Lake; a son, Buddy Butler of Dyersburg; a brother, Jake Jennings of Memphis; sixteen grandchildren; and a host of great and great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Anna Sue Johnson; a son, Jerry Butler; her parents, John and Angela Hawkins Jennings; and two brothers, I.D. Jennings and Pete Jennings.
Pallbearers will be Garry Butler, Doug Butler, David Jennings, Tommy Kaminski, J.R. Cross, Jimmy Johnson, J.R. Usry and Andrew Chumley.
