Edna Boyd, 96, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a retired beautician and a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Loren Stephens officiating.

The family will receive visitors at 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include two sons, James "Jimmy" Boyd and wife, Leila, of Dyersburg and Charles Unsworth and wife, Nancy, of Doyline, La.; four grandchildren, Kim Martin and husband, Art, of Minden, La., Jim Boyd of Eureka, Mich., Lisa Bryant and husband, Tim, and Stephanie Davis and husband, Jason, all of Dyersburg; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Boyd; and her parents, Samuel J. and Elsie Sharpe.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Bryant, Justin Bryant, Tim Bryant, Jim Boyd, Art Martin and Jason Davis.
